Warehouse/Fulfillment Specialist - hiring now!

Role: Warehouse / Fulfillment Specialist

Location: Kelbourne Woolens Warehouse, Philadelphia, PA. This is an in-person role with no opportunity for remote work.

Pay range: $20–22/hour, no degree required. Proven experience with e-commerce fulfillment technology, OMS platforms, and forklift certification is a plus!

Job Summary:
The Warehouse and Fulfillment Specialist role is a part time position (three days per week) with a potential for full-time growth as we expand. We are looking for a systems-minded person who can quickly master our established workflows to keep our order management systems running with precision. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with e-commerce technology (Shopify, ShipStation, UPS, Quickbooks) and understand that their attention to detail is critical to the daily operations. In this role, you will coordinate with our wholesale sales team and warehouse manager to keep the orders flowing out the door and the warehouse organized, stocked, tidy, and running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in receiving and unloading pallets of yarn, count what was received, shelve it, and ensure that it is done in an orderly and safe manner.

• Order and platform management for incoming and outgoing orders in Shipstation and Shopify, navigating complex system logics (like splits, holds, or multi-box shipments) with flawless accuracy.

• Resolve complex returns, refunds, and order exceptions within Shopify and ShipStation. Partner with the Sales team to troubleshoot system discrepancies and communicate solutions professionally to high-value wholesale accounts.

• Help maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.

• Assist with restocking and maintaining inventory levels through cycle counts and identifying low-stock and high demand items for timely reorders.

Candidate Essentials:
• Work on your feet for long periods of time

• Excellent communication skills

• Is a “systems” thinker and a big picture strategist who is able to work with the whole team

• Able to lift, carry, push, and move 50 lbs

• Ability to abide by warehouse safety and cleanliness protocols

Owners and founders Courtney Kelley and Kate Osborn are involved in managing all day-to-day aspects of the business alongside their brilliant office and warehouse staff. The small team works hard to provide stellar customer experience, both locally and online.
