Description
The Year of DK Hats celebrates Germantown DK with 12 free patterns using our favorite knitting techniques. February's design is Umbriel by Courtney Kelley. The astute among you may recognize it as a finer weight version of her very popular Wister Hat from our Year of Bulky Hats! Umbriel begins with a classic long tail cast on, a simple spiral slip stitch pattern is worked for the body, and integrated decreases shape the crown. As will our other hats, a pom pom tops it all off and a custom KW tag completes the look.
