Bailey's 2025 Make 9

2. Pattern: Maxine Sweater by Laura Penrose
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Scout. Stranded colorwork sweaters aren't my favorite garments to knit, but this one caught my eye. I plan to knit this with chestnut heather for the MC, and natural and gray heather for the CCs.

3. Pattern: Cara Wrap Cardigan by Rebecca Clow
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Cricket and Harmony. Wrap tops are so cozy and versatile! I foresee this wrap becoming a staple in my wardrobe, and plan to use Cricket in raisin and Harmony in aubergine for this project.

4. Pattern: Quilt Stars tutorial by Joz Makes Quilts
I learned to sew with a machine in 2023 and 2025 is the year I learn how to make sawtooth star for future projects. I love the look of star-shaped quilt blocks, and I've already purchased the fabric I want to use from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club. Wish me luck!

5. Pattern: Cardigan No. 7 by My Favourite Things
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Germantown. Germantown is my favorite Kelbourne Woolens yarn. As a history lover and an even bigger Philadelphia lover, this yarn speaks to everything I love. This will be my first garment in Germantown and I am so excited!

6. Pattern: Yoko Top by Pernille Larsen
Yarn: BC Garn Allino. This will be my first finish project knit in a cotton/linen blend! I love to sport bright colors in the summer, so I'm thinking I'll knit it in pink or lime. I'm excited to knit something I can wear at the beach!

7.. Pattern: Chunky Twist by Nina Ruth
Yarn: Catskill Merino. This yarn is very special to me because I was gifted it after I finished reading Vanishing Fleece: Adventures in American Yarn by Clara Parkes, which centers around the Catskill Merino farm. I think the Chunky Twist pattern will show off the yarn while also creating an accessory I will use all the time.

8. Pattern: Shawl for an Art Lover by Karie Westermann
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Harmony, held double. If you've ever spoken to me at the shop you'll know that I'M GETTING MARRIED 🎉! As an artist, I want every single detail at my wedding to represent my personal style. I will either wear this shawl during the ceremony, or use it as a cover for our chuppah!

9. Pattern: Musselburgh by Ysolda Teague
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Perennial. The construction of a Musselburgh is just SO SATISFYING, and I'm a sucker for a basic stockinette project. I take public transportation to and from Kelbourne Woolens every day, and this will be the perfect portable project to keep me busy on the bus.
