Bascom Vest Pattern
Bascom Vest Pattern
Description
Bascom is a classic vest designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn. Because of its refined details (like a split hem and short-rowed shoulders), it works as both a vest or a first layer. Germantown Bulky and Cardo have the body to give the simple, two-stitch repeat of the pattern distinctive depth.
2022 Collaboration Collection: Kelbourne Woolens x Manos del Uruguay
Our friends at Fairmount Fibers / Manos del Uruguay introduced a new bulky-weight wool, Cardo, at the same time as we did Germantown Bulky, and, conveniently, both can be knit at the same gauge. We joined forces and designed 6 garments, and knit each in both yarns. The result is a wardrobe of sweaters and a renewed commitment to the principle of collaboration.
