The germantown dk has a lovely rustic feel to it which is one of my favorite types of yarn. The color is calming and shows off the cables beautifully. The add on with stickers, darning needle and stitch markers with the tag will help start and finish the project. Just needed needles. Lovely hat kit. I can’t wait to see next months.
Like almost all of your year of hats patterns this is really cute hat. I haven’t yet knit it, the queue is long! I did read through the directions found them to be clear and the charts to be excellent. I look forward to the rest of the DK hats patterns and using a number of them for charity hats or grandkids or great nieces and nephews for Christmas next year.
Love the pattern. Cant wait to cast it on
I know i will love the final product, but as an older, simple minded knitter I am having trouble with the "long tail cast" on. I find doing it on a small needle (tutorials show it being done on a larger needle) is a little tricky. I finally got the hang of it but hadn't accounted for enough yarn on the long tail. I also might switch to a straight needle as the loose end of small circular was in the way. I love the monthly hat concept and can't wait for ones to come.
Great pattern
