Free Pattern: Purl Stitch Baby Pants

When designing Cozy, we didn't specifically view it as a baby yarn, despite it being perfect for babies due to its soft as heck hand and lovely color palette. While my babies are long past their baby phase (and the 14 year old would melt into the floor if she found out I referred to her as "my baby"), I am lucky enough to have a few wee babes in my life, AKA "My Fit Models". My nephew Henry, a willing but somewhat confused helper during the initial design process.

And what do babies need? Pants. Particularly very soft, cushy, cozy (see!) pants made for mushy legs and big diapered bums. Enter the Purl Stitch Baby Pants, a free pattern for babes in four sizes from Newborn to 18 months. Each leg is worked in the round from the cuff up, then joined to work the seat. Increases are worked to shape the bum, then a nice deep ribbing finishes the waist.These pants would make the perfect quick gift for a babe in your life, and  is the perfect excuse to grab a skein (or two) of Cozy.
