Finished Project: "Basic" Marled Cricket Pullover

Are y'all getting sick of all of these finished projects yet? Well, never fear, this may be the last of the lot for a minute because I'm back to casting on wildly with no end in sight!
I honestly don't even know when I cast on this sweater, probably some time back in the spring? My motivation was a classic, easy pullover that served the purpose of a well-loved sweatshirt without the actual wearing of a sweatshirt. I used 2 ends of Cricket in the ubiquitous combination of black and cream, and based off of the success of my Toni, used that pattern as my guide and starting point.
I worked the back flat to the hem, finishing with a tubular bind off. Once complete, I cast on the stitches for the fronts and joined them into a crew neck, working down as for the back. The sleeves were worked flat from the cuffs up, following the Toni numbers in reverse. Once all pieces were blocked, I seamed the sleeves, side seams, and armholes using mattress stitch.
The fit is really comfortable and has just enough ease to be cozy and casual. The woolen spun Cricket makes for a super light and warm fabric, even held doubled, and the marl is always a favorite. (Want something similar but not marled? Make it in Lucky!) If you're not into the heavy mods, you could make Julie's Molly instead!
