Our friend Maura (another former Kelbourne Woolens employee!) stopped by yesterday with her darling wee babe, Meta, who was wearing her brand new Scout bonnet, now available as a free pattern! 
Besides being one of the cutest wee little gnomes we have ever seen, Maura designed this bonnet for Meta with practicality and function in mind. The shape fits the head and covers the ears without a lot of additional bulk, and the construction makes for a quick knit.
SPECIFICATIONS
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Scout, Juniper Heather, 1 skein.
Gauge: 20 sts and 35 rows = 4"/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, after blocking.
Needles: US 6 and US 8.
Size: To fit 3-6 months (6-12 months).
