Reborn Jeans Colors: 804 Blue Denim Super Dark

Sold out

Reborn Jeans is a vegan knitting yarn made from post-consumer recycled denim jeans. It is pleasantly and unusually soft for a denim yarn, so perfect for garments and accessories of all kinds. Because the fiber is already recycled from used denim, there is no additional shrinkage to consider when washing this yarn. Reborn Jeans is easy care, and can be machine washed.

The color range is narrow by design: the original colors of the jeans were maintained with no additional bleaching or dye processes. This process also ensures that very little water is used in the production of this yarn. The polyester is made from recycled PET bottles, and the raw material is sourced and spun in India. The dyes used are free of animal derivates so that this yarn can be called truly vegan.

Please note: some of the shades are very similar. They are in numerical order from light to dark, with 801 being the lightest blue, and 804 the darkest; 851 is the lightest black, and 854 the darkest. 852 and 853 are very similar - 852 is slightly lighter and ever so slightly bluer than 853.

Made by knitters, for knitters

Kate and Courtney met while working in a local yarn store in Philadelphia, PA; Courtney was a new mom and Kate was in her final year of grad school. Together they founded Kelbourne Woolens at Kate's kitchen table, and have been working side by side ever since.
