Primrose Mittens

The Primrose Mittens are worked in the round from the cuff to top of hand. The cuff is worked in a broken ribbing, and the hand is worked from a chart. The thumb is worked using the afterthought (peasant) method.

GAUGE
22 sts + 36 rnds = 4″ (10 cm) in texture stitch on larger ndls, after blocking.
22 sts + 36 rnds = 4″ (10 cm) in broken ribbing on larger ndls, after blocking.
NEEDLES
1 – set US 2 (2.75 mm) DPNs.
1 – set US 4 (3.5 mm) DPNs.
Check your gauge and adjust needle size(s) accordingly if necessary.
NOTIONS
Darning needle, stitch marker, waste yarn of similar gauge.
SIZE
8.5″ (21.5 cm) hand circumference, 11.5″ (29.5 cm) total length.
