You may recognize Awbury as a bulky version of our popular July Hat! Courtney initially designed the July Hat as a nice break from more complicated knitting projects - it is small enough to be portable, and simple enough that you can knit it while hanging pool side, or relax with a glass of your favorite beverage after a long day out.

GAUGE

13 sts and 18 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in Triangle Stitch on larger needles, after blocking.

NEEDLES

1 – 16” (40 cm) US 9 (5.5 mm) circular.

1 – 16” (40 cm) US 10 (6 mm) circular.

1 – set US 10 (6 mm) DPNs.

Check your gauge and adjust needle size(s) accordingly if necessary.

NOTIONS

Darning needle, stitch marker, Kelbourne Woolens label, sewing thread, sharp sewing needle.
