This free blanket pattern is designed for beginner and advanced crocheters alike. The written instructions are intended for those new to making a granny square. If you are an accomplished crocheter, you may work from the chart version of the granny square and edging.
This blanket is ideal for using scraps of yarn from other projects. Each square uses 3 contrast colors, identified as CC1, CC2, and CC3 and as yellow, green, and pink on the chart, with the final round in the MC. You can choose any colors you like and make it as colorful as your heart desires. If you want to plan a palette, choose three or six colors to alternate between.
