December Andorra Love: Your Projects!

For our third installment in my mini Andorra love series, I wanted to share some projects by knitters shared on Ravelry over the last two years. First, for the wee babes, Kristy knit the cutest little top down hat with earflaps for Floyd, and Dana worked up an Animal Bonnet by Jenny Gordy for Nora. We designed Andorra with colorwork in mind (to be fair, we design pretty much every yarn with colorwork in mind), and I honestly gasped out loud when I saw this Bistort Pullover knit by Heather for her honeymoon. And Claire paired Spincycle Dyed in the Wool beautifully with Andorra for this amazing Ghost Horses by Caitlin Hunter. Andorra is also amazing for hats! Kerstin paired Andorra with Shibui Silk Cloud to make an Aspen Hollow by Andrea Mowry and test knitter extraordinaire Hannah worked up a Nostrand by LondonLeo. What about some kick-butt texture? Angela knit a stunningly feminine shawl, Grand Trianon by Andrea Petrone using Andorra paired with Shibui Staccatto and Rowan Kidsilk Haze, and Jessica knit Norah Gaughan’s Yoke Pullover as one of the thirteen garments she knit in 2018! And, last but not least, I couldn’t resist these two other colorwork lovelies, a Voe Vest by Mary Jane Mucklestone knit by Vanessa, and Jaime held Andorra double to knit a pair of Mebondeen mittens by Skeindeer Knits.
