The Philadelphia Museum of Art has an exciting exhibit called New Grit: Art and Philly Now. The show includes twenty five contemporary artist with strong ties to Philadelphia who explore being and belonging.
This mixed media painting titled Son Songlines: Cosmos by Howardena Pindell is a favorite from the show! When I saw it I couldn't help think of the bright fresh colors of our Mojave yarn.
