Happy Granny Square Day!

It’s Granny Square Day!

In honor of Granny Square Day and #crochetsummer2019 we prepared a colorful little surprise—the Sub Rosa Earrings by Lana Jois!

While Lana was crocheting up her Sub Rosa for the Kelbourne Woolens Crochet Collection she also whipped up a petite version of her granny square motif into earrings with a note exclaiming, “I couldn’t help myself!”

We couldn’t help ourselves either, and Meghan Babin immediately dove into our Mojave stash when she was at the office and made a few colorful versions of the Sub Rosa Earrings of her very own!

The Sub Rosa Earrings are simple granny squares worked in the round using two colors of our ready-for-crochet Mojave.

Grab some dangly earring findings and a hook to follow our sweet and simple pattern for a pair (or many pairs) of your own!

New Free Pattern: Llumeneres Hat!

When we received the new colors of Andorra this season, I saw the deep navy and immediately fell in love.

I had always wanted to knit my Seathwaite hat in a smaller gauge with a slouchier fit, and with the release of the new colors and Small Business Saturday just around the corner, it seemed like the perfect time to do just that!

Llumeneres is a classic hat with a ribbed brim and intricate all over cable pattern. Integrated decreases shape the crown, and the added length allows for a folded brim and classic fitted hat or unfolded brim and slouchier fit.

The free pattern is our gift to you this season in appreciation for your support and enthusiasm this past year. Here’s to many, many more!
