Andorra was our very first Kelbourne Woolens yarn, released on the Winter Solstice last year, so we find it fitting that Knit.Wear chose to feature this perfectly wintery yarn in the latest issue. The lightweight blend of super soft merino wool and the mohair with it’s subtle sheen create a very refined look - perfect for an upcoming holiday or New Years soirée, perhaps?
I love the way that cable braid coils around the wearer’s arm, and how the braids along the front panel create a perfect silhouette from the shoulders to the hips, spilling down the front of the body before merging perfectly into the ribbing. I love a thoughtfully designed sweater, and this one ticks all of my boxes!
In collaboration with Interweave Press, we are offering one lucky reader the chance to win a digital copy of Knit.Wear Fall/Winter 2018, which includes an article on the Faroe Islands knitting traditions and the Aslant Pullover, along with Kelbourne Woolens’ Andorra yarn in your choice of colors to make your very own Aslant Pullover!
