And That’s a Wrap! TNNA Weekend Re-cap.

Kelbourne Woolens just wrapped up our Summer TNNA trade show in Cleveland, OH!

While I was home, anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new baby, this stellar team was at the show all weekend. From left to right we have Britta Kremke from BC Garn, Paula and Kris á Torkilsheyggi from Navia, Kate Osborn and Meghan Kelly from Kelbourne Woolens, and Kate’s mom Denise!

Booth set up takes most of the day, and I have to say I wasn’t sorry to miss it, even though I was in labor that day!

Our newest yarn for summer, which is launching this Thursday, was a hit! Stay tuned for more info on that, as well as a new collection, coming up on the 21st of June.

Being able to display the entire Kelbourne Woolens 2018 Collection together was really amazing. It’s nice to be able to see what a year of hard work looks like — I don’t think there is anything quite so satisfying.

We also had our new BC Garn collection on display for the very first time. Look for this collection in AlbaTussah Tweed, and Lino to launch in July.

The new BC Garn Bio Shetland was a hit, and our UK sales rep, Allison, couldn’t resist Instagramming this cute pic!

Our newest addition, Navia, made it’s debut in North America at the show this weekend. Owners Kris and Paula were in the booth introducing themselves, the brand, and the Faroe Islands to shops and friends. We were so grateful to have them at the show.

We also were lucky enough to have all of the Navia fall collection garments at the show. They brought the whole collection over in suitcases right after the photoshoot! The sweaters are stunning, and Kris will be the first to tell you that their Faroese design team ranges in age from 15 to 84 years old!

And as quickly as it went up, it came back down. Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make this weekend a success, including our new KW team member, Mary Ermenegilda, or just “Gilda” for short. She was born on Friday morning at 10:14 am, just in time for the show. Welcome to the team, peanut!
