Our second pattern release of the season is here, the Laura Chau Collection!
Laura is known for her wearable garments, functional accessories, and clear patterns, and her four designs for us are no exception!
1 / Cathedral Grove
2 / Rainy Lake
3 / Hopewell Rocks
4 / Mackenzie River
Each design in the collection utilizes lovely, simple lace patterns perfect for new or experienced lace knitters alike. These transitional pieces will be sure to carry you through all manner of weather.
Cathedral Grove
A unique 3 row lace pattern forms the openwork design of this gradient wrap. A small 4 row border forms a firm edge while allowing the all over pattern to stand out.
Rainy Lake
An elegant cardigan featuring a flattering deep V-neck, long stockinette sleeves, and a lace body. Rainy Lake is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed, then the button band and collar is picked up and worked in one piece.
Mackenzie River
A soft and light cowl with a traveling lace and garter ridge pattern.
Hopewell Rocks
This easy tee is worked in an intuitive all-over mesh pattern, with tidy seed stitch borders and slipped stitch edgings. The front and back are worked flat from the hem upwards with cast-on short sleeves. Once complete, the pieces are seamed and stitches are picked up to work the neck.
