Designer Feature: Sawyer Pullover by Kitty Buch

One of the most exciting things about our jobs is talking to shop owners, managers, and employees and seeing what inspires them about working with the yarns we distribute. These conversations fill our days as we take orders, fulfill trunk show requests, and walk the halls of the warehouse seeking out specific dye lots for customers.

As transplants to Philadelphia, we all bring our own regional tastes to our approach to the yarns, adding a nice variety to the overall look and feel of our designs. What we lack, though, is a Florida touch, and that is where Kitty Buch comes in! A former interior designer, Kitty now works at A Good Yarn in Sarasota, Florida and currently wears many hats as a yarn dyer/yarn shop employee/knitwear designer.

Her design in The Fibre Co. Arranmore, the Sawyer Pullover, a boxy sweater knit using stockinette stitch and lace, the looser gauuge, open stitches, and casual shape are perfect for Florida winters (or New England summer evenings!)
