Polish designer Justyna Lorkowska has published a fingerless mitt pattern, Baileys, knit with one skein of The Fibre Co. Arranmore.
From Justyna, in her description of Baileys:
These mitts will warm both your heart and your hands. The luxurious wool blend knit up in form-fitting rib caresses the skin, while a cable and bobble motif graces the back of the hand. Ordinary thumb increases worked in a not-so-ordinary place create pleasing lines and make these mitts uniquely special.
Knit with just one skein these would make a quick knit project for instant gratification.

Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in 1×1 Rib worked in the rnd, after wet blocking, upstretched.
Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) 16″ (40 cm) long or dpns.
Size: One size to fit medium adult hands; finished palm circumference 7.75″ (19 cm), length 8.75″ (22 cm).
