Our family recently spent the week in Acadia on Schieffelin Point. We go up every year at the beginning of July, and the cool air, days on the water, and time to relax with family is a welcome respite from the sticky hot summers of Philadelphia and post-TNNA exhaustion and mayhem.
Since The Fibre Co. Acadia is named after the glorious landscape I love so much, I am always inspired to take photos with the nature-inspired colors of the line in mind. Below are four color stories I put together using images from our week – hopefully the memories will tide me over until we can go back again next year!
1 / House on Calf Island: Mountain Ash / Butterfly Bush / Granite / Jack Pine
2 / Beach Collection: Summersweet / Yellow Birch / Orange Storm / Sand
3 / By the Dock: Blueleaf Birch / Pinecone / Kelp / Egret
4 / Early Sunset: Sea Lavender / Rose Bay / Thistle / Cormorant
