The recently released early fall issue of Vogue Knitting included a lovely sweater designed by Sarah Hatton using The Fibre Co. Luma in sangria, and I am totally smitten for the vintage style! The #11 Diagonal Stitch Pullover has a romantic 1940’s-50’s feel with its texture rich pattern forming V shapes throughout with set in sleeves, rounded neckline, and 1×1 ribbed cuffs.
Yarn: The Fibre Co. Luma: Sangria, 7-10 skeins.
Gauge: 23 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in over diagonal slant stitch, after blocking.
Needles: Size 3 (3.25 mm) and Size 6 (4.0 mm).
Sizes: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large.
The pullover is one of 24 patterns in the Vogue issue. You can view all of the designs in the issue on Ravelry here.
