A new order of Arranmore is slated to arrive at our doorstep either today or tomorrow, and we could not be more anxious to get the yarn out to all of you who have been so wonderfully patiently waiting!
In a feat of perfect timing, Interweave Knits Winter 2016 hit newsstands this week, and Moira Engel designed the Donegal Sweater using The Fibre Co. Arranmore in Meara for the “Whiskey and Wool” story.
Following up on the spectacular Fall issue was a seemingly insurmountable task, but the editors at Interweave produced an amazing Winter Issue that is both modern and classic. A dedicated menswear collection – missing from the pages for some time – shows menswear at its best, and the gorgeous Donegal Pullover is no exception.
From the issue:
“This winter, replace your standard blazer or sport coat with a handsome shawl-collar sweater. Layer the Donegal Sweater over a shirt and tie or over a T-shirt for a more casual look; either way, the cashmere-blend Arranmore tweed and the traveling cable stitch will bring comfort and refinement to any occasion.”
