Year of Mittens: What Color Did You Choose?

We’ve been in this industry long enough to know that you’ll ALL want to knit it in the same color as the sample, no matter what.

Okay, okay…we know that’s not 100% true, but it’s true often enough that we thought it’d be nice to show you some August Mittens knit in a color other than Windermere (above).

Get inspired by these awesome alternate colors!

Hahahahaha, Windermere! Because for the first time ever I am knitting a pattern exactly as written. It might signal the end of days.

    1. No surprise here! You and everyone else seem to be using that color! Ha!

  2. Marjorie says:

I intentionally selected Windermere because just 5 months ago I moved from a community of 4 streets, and one street was "Windermere." These mittens will be my reminder of happy times there. Now on to new adventures …

I chose Eden Valley. It is such a lovely mix of blue and green. Plus there is an Eden Valley along my favorite backroad to Estes Park. Color grabs me first, but an interesting color name can cinch the purchase.
