As I mentioned yesterday, previews for Carrie Bostick Hoge’s Making magazine went up last week, and we’re delighted to have two sweaters in the issue that feature The Fibre Co. yarns.
The Flora Cardi by Carrie is a lovely little cardigan, knit using The Fibre Co. Road to China Lace at a breezy, open gauge. The short sleeved dolman is worked back and forth from the bottom up, then increases are worked to shape the armholes. Stitches are then cast on to complete the sleeve shaping, and short rows are worked to shape the shoulders. The shoulders are joined with a secure and stable three-needle bind off, then stitches are picked up and worked in garter to complete the cuffs.
