Designer Rachel C. Brown recently published a collection of 8 Tundra accessories in collaboration with The Fibre Co.
Fauske is a cosy scarf that features a braided cable and attached I-Cord at the edges.
Heggelia is a pair of long fingerless mitts featuring a large cable panel on a ground of reverse stockinette.
Moen is a cabled cowl available in two sizes for optimum winter comfort.
Nøss is a pair of simple fingerless mitts that work up in less than one skein of Tundra.
Rosta is a lovely cowl worked horizontally and would make a great project for first-time cablers.
Sappen is a hat knit designed using a large cable motif flanked by honeycomb stitches.
Skáidi is a slouchy take on the Sappen hat, with just one motif of the large cable flanked by two honeycomb panels.
Ifjord is a hat with an all over cable motif that would look perfect in any color and would make a great unisex hat.
The full Nordlándda collection is available for individual download via the designer’s website here, or via Ravelry here. Many of the designs use just 1 skein of the Tundra, so they would make great last minute gifts this holiday! – KGO
