We’re delighted to announce the official release of our latest book, Little Things!
If you follow us on Instagram, you may remember when we did some teaser photos of our photoshoot back at the end of September, or during our “Sneak Peek Week” on Day 2 and Day 4.
Little Things is both a follow up to our Baby Collection, as well as a stand-alone collection. In lieu of a book that is exclusively baby-related knitwear, Little Things is a collection of accessories, home-goods, and baby items each designed to use just 1-3 skeins of The Fibre Company yarns.
Our goal was to create a collection emblematic of the classic Kelbourne Woolens style that appeals to a wide variety of knitters. Inside you will find baby blankets, chunky cowls, a triangle lace shawl, Setesdal-inspired colorwork hats, legwarmers, and even a lovely woven-inspired tea towel.
ALEDA is a triangular lace shawl designed using 2 skeins of Canopy Fingering.
ASTRID is a reversible double-sided hat knit using 1 skein of 2 colors of Meadow.
FAOLAN is a pair of lace legwarmers designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn using Road to China Light.
FORSYTH is a woven huck-lace inspired tea towel designed using Savannah by Courtney Kelley.
GALENA is a pair of adorable baby socks with a unique heel construction designed by Courtney Kelley in Canopy Fingering.
GLENDORA is a baby blanket knit from the center out in a geometric pattern by Leah McGlone using Canopy Worsted.
ISLE is a garter and lace chunky cowl designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn using Tundra.
KIERNAN is a setesdal inspired colorwork hat designed using Tundra by Kate Gagnon Osborn.
LETICIA is a slipped stitch colorwork hat designed by Meghan Kelly using 2 colors of Acadia.
MINJONET is a colorwork hat designed using classic Setesdal motifs by Kate Gagnon Osborn in Knightsbridge.
PHLOX is a graphic textured oversized chunky cowl designed using Tundra by Leah McGlone.
SABINA is a pair of classic garter stitch handwarmers designed by Courtney Kelley using Canopy Fingering.
SHIPWRIGHT is a pair of gansey-inspired legwarmers designed by Courtney Kelley using Road to China Light.
THICKET is a cable and lace slouchy hat designed by Leah McGlone using Terra.
The collection is available in hard copy book form either from one of our wonderful stockists, or via the Kelbourne Website here. If you would prefer a digital version, it is also available separately in PDF format here. Happy Knitting!
