Carrie Bostick Hoge just released a new collection, Anthology 2: Simple Pleasures, and it is, in a word, gorgeous. We’re honored to have The Fibre Company yarns featured in quite a few of the designs – so many, in fact, I thought it was best to break the feature into two parts, accessories and garments.
CHARLOTTE LIGHT ACCESSORIES:
The beret, scarf and handwarmers that make up Charlotte Light Accessories are classic and simple wardrobe essentials. The scarf, knit using Road to China Light in Riverstone, is destined to become a favorite of any lucky recipient.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Finished Measurements: 8¾” wide and 62” long
Yarn: 3 skeins Road to China Light in Riverstone
Needles: One pair in size US 5 3.75 mm(Or size to obtain gauge)
Gauge: 22 sts and 44 rows = 4” in garter stitch, blocked.
LAUREL COWL:
A large cowl in, dare I say it, one of the most perfect uses of Terra I’ve seen in a while: the tweedy texture looks gorgeous in the garter stitch and the short row wedges provide just enough interest without being overwrought.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Yarn: 4 skeins Terra in Yarrow
Needles: One pair straight needles in size US 8 5 mm and one spare in same size for three-needle bind off. (Or size to obtain gauge)
Gauge: 18 sts and 36 rows = 4” in garter st, blocked.
LORI SHAWL:
Part wrap, part scarf, part shawl, I imagine wearing the Lori Shawl is much like being permanently hugged with Road to China Light. Not a bad way to go about your day.

Needles: One 32” circular needle in size US 5 3.75 mm. (Or size to obtain gauge)
