Carrie Bostick Hoge, aka Madder, is known for her use of simple stitch patterns and classic shapes to create unique and gorgeous pieces that are destined to be wardrobe staples. In her first self-published book, Madder Anthology Volume 1:, Carrie features some of her more popular designs, Camilla, Sibella, Imogen, and Beatrice, in their classic incarnations as well as new styles, shapes, and designs.
The concept for the book is simple – four unique and gorgeous stitch patterns create four different groupings of patterns in a wide variety of applications: sweaters for grown ups and little ones, shawls, scarves, and blankets. For the third installment in this little series of Independent Designer features, we’re delighted and honored to share the four designs in the book that feature Fibre Company Yarns!
The Beatrice Scarf featuring Canopy Worsted in Macaw.
