We have been a fan of Lori Versaci, both as designer and all-around awesome lady, for quite some time. He first blog feature was when she designed this lovely boxy tee featuring Savannah in Persimmon (check it out here). Since then, a wonderful friendship and partnership was formed. Lori’s latest design, Rubus, showcases the inherent texture and drape of Acadia.
Featuring Acadia in Moraine, Rubus is a sophisticated crew neck pullover perfect for spring and summer nights spent in the great outdoors.
We’re in love with the play on texture Lori features in Rubus, as she describes on her website:
“Named after the genus of flowering plants that produce berries, the pattern stitch of Rubus reminds me of cool summer days picking blueberries in Maine.”
I’m thinking about knitting a Rubus for my mother, even though I would also love an oversized version for myself… I picked out some color options so far, what do you think?
