It’s no surprise here that Carrie Bostick Hoge has released yet another pattern that made the entire KW office drop everything and start planning for their own Maeve shrug.
Knit out of Canopy Worsted in Acai, Maeve is worked in the round (so no seams! – sorry Kate) and features a luxurious shawl collar in garter stitch to add to the indulgence of this shrug. Knit from sleeve to sleeve and the stitches picked up for the garter band, Maeve is a great on-the-go project. Those endless summer car rides just got a little more interesting.
As soon as I saw Maeve I immediately thought of those last nights of summer when all you need is the warmth of a simple shrug for the slight drop in temperature. I picked a couple of color options to be added to my Ravelry queue. I’m personally eyeing River Dolphin – but who knows, my color choice might change once some of my WIPs are finished.
Maeve is available for purchase on both Carrie’s website, here, or on Ravelry here. For more information about Carrie’s designs, head on over to her website here!
