Yesterday Kate styled some great knits for the remaining weeks of winter featuring one of our favorite yarns, Road to China Light. I too enjoy the snow; I love bundling up with a thick scarf, the ability to showcase my sweater collection, and watching the snowfall on a winter night.
However, with the recent “snowpocalypses”, my romantic views of winter have dwindled and I’m longing for those summer months filled with sun, warmth and the ability to walk unphased by the winter elements (Kate would argue it’s due to my lack of winter boots, but I would like to place blame on the lack of plowling in my neighborhood). Luckily for me, Cecily Glowik MacDonald released her latest pattern, Fluted, and I’m already wondering where I put my favorite sun dresses.
Featuring Meadow in Ladyslipper, Fluted is an elegant open cardigan perfect for those late spring/ early summer nights. The gorgeous neckline is created by increasing the knit and purl panels – talk about simplicity kicked up a notch! I’m thinking about making one for myself in Alfalfa, what do you think?
