Independent Designer Feature: Carrie Bostick Hoge

We had a great time at TNNA this past weekend, and really enjoyed seeing all of the familiar faces and meeting new ones. We loved chatting – and most importantly, knitting –  with everyone! Plus, we had some time to defrost from the freezing temperatures back on the east coast.

Upon returning to the home, we were greeted with Carrie Bostick Hoge‘s latest pattern release and can’t be more excited about them.

In this latest collection of patterns, Carrie showcases her sense of refinement and eye for simply elegant designs. First up, Liv and Livie, an open cardigan for the adults and a single button closure for the small ones in your life.

Featuring Canopy Worsted in Quetzal, Liv, and Fern, Livie, these cardigans are a great staple piece for both big and small. The second set of patterns is Annecy & Lille, available in both scarf and cowl form, and feature a graphic knit and purl triangle pattern.

Featuring Road to China in Blue Tourmaline this pattern set is a great “end-of-winter” piece for anyone’s wardrobe. Plus, the combination of alpaca, silk, camel and cashmere will keep you warm for the upcoming months. We’re thinking of knitting up the Lille in Rhodolite with a few more repeats in there for a wider scarf, what do you think?
