If you haven’t heard yet, it’s not too late to join in the fun!
We are hosting our first Mystery Knit-A-Long in celebration of our new yarn, Meadow.
Meadow is a rustic yet luxurious blend of 40% extrafine merino wool, 25% baby llama, 20% mulberry silk and 15% linen. Each 100 gram skein contains 549 yards. We will be co-hosting the KAL on our blog and on our Kelbourne Woolens Ravelry Group.
The Meadow Mystery pattern is a triangular shawl which increases at four points beginning at the back neck. The instructions will be both charted and written out for clues. Each clue will include a description of how the motif changes so that it flows seamlessly from one segment to the next. These excerpts are a special bonus to KAL participants based on a day long class we teach on designing your own lace motifs. These excerpts will not be available in the final pattern!
The pattern will be available for purchase for $3.50 through Ravelry beginning Saturday June 1st. Please purchase the pattern before June 15th to receive the initial swatch instructions and including yarn requirements. All pattern clues will be sent to your Ravelry inbox. Participant updates and spoiler alerts can also be posted on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, or as comments on our blog, and tagged #KWMKAL (which stands for Kelbourne Woolens Mystery Knit-A-Long). Please post spoiler alerts in our SPOILER ALERT thread if posting project pictures before the next clue is released!
