Last weekend we had the pleasure of traveling to Holderness, NH to attend the Squam Art Workshops on Squam Lake, participate in the Ravelry Revelry and evening Art Fair.
We rented a house in Holderness on White Oak Pond, and arrived a day early so we could have a mini-work retreat to do some planning for the end of 2013 and beyond – and, let’s be honest, some relaxing!
The weather the first day was downright chilly, perfect for handknits, sitting by the fire, and knitting.
And maybe a little old school Trivia Pursuit playing.
We admired some of the amazing textiles in the home.
We woke up to see the sunrise.
We finished {as yet unblocked} sweaters.
And then on Saturday we got down to business.
The Ravelry Revelry was a huge success, and the Art Fair was loads of fun. Thanks to everyone who came to play, shop + chat!
All in all, we had an awesome long weekend. It was wonderful to see everyone there, spend more quality time with the lovely teachers and volunteers + staff of Squam {Cal Patch, meeting you in person only strengthened Kate’s love of you!} and meet all of the creative and talented participants.
See you next year!
Beautiful photos!
The left cardigan in the photo accompanying the text And then on Saturday we got down to business looks lovely! Please, tell me if there is a pattern available for it.
