Bristol Ivy is a knitwear designer that specializes in elegant designs with tasteful details. Bristol recently released her new book, Strata and Line, in collaboration with Leah B. Thibault, as a tribute to stripes within knitting patterns, and seeing as how we love stripes, it was a big hit in our office! One of the patterns featured in the collection, Stria, features one of our most popular yarns, Acadia.
For this lovely, convertible cardigan, Bristol chose Acadia in Driftwood and Bog. The contrast in color gives a bold striping detail on the back and sleeves of this garment, but the best part is that you can either wear it open, or button it to form a gorgeous cowl neck sweater.
With Acadia’s subtle silk noils in mind, delicate pops of green and blue shine through in the Bog colorway, giving this sweater a great textural element without sacrificing the design. We’ve already started playing around with different colorways for our very own Stria.
