Knitter Projects: wee Austin Hoodie

Baby Charlie has received many lovely knitted gifts, and now that the weather has cooled considerably she is lucky enough to spend every day wrapped in some sort of knitted goodness. {No wool aversion for this babe, she happily wears wool, alpaca, and, – of couse – cashmere!}

One of the amazing gifts Charlie received is the wee Austin Hoodie designed by Connie Chang Chinchio and knit by our friend Narda. The wee Austin Hoodie is a pint-sized version of the popular Austin Hoodie by Connie, but with specific details with baby in mind – buttonbands, a garter hem, no waist shaping and a pointed elfin hood.

Narda knit Charlie her hoodie in Canopy Fingering in dragonfruit, a bright saturated pink. The end result is a wonderful warm sweater with an adorable and practical hood.

Thanks, Narda!

    We love Narda at Love 2 Knit. Really cute sweater. We may have to knit up a sample for the shop!
