The preview of Fall Knitscene went live on Friday, and yet again (broken record, much?) it is a great issue! One of Kate and Courtney’s favorites, Canopy Fingering is featured in this latest issue in a really interesting beret design by Heidi Todd Kozar.
A slightly slouchy beret featuring a wide Celtic knot color work panel and centered decreases, the design provides unlimited color combination possibilities!
Specifications:
• Yarn: Canopy Fingering in river dolphin, yerba mate + cat’s claw, 1 skein each.
• Size: 18″ brim circumference, 24″ circumference above brim after blocking.
• Needles: Size 3 (3.25 mm): 16″ circs and set of dpns, Size 2 (2.75 mm): set of dpn
• Gauge: 26 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in Colorwork patt on larger needle after blocking
What a great pattern! This is a MUST make this year!
