Another wonderful design using Road to China, the Warbler Hat + Mittens feature a sturdy twisted rib cuff and band and garter stitch body.
The hat is designed with just a bit of slouch, and the use of garter stitch creates a warm and soft accessory with a lot of texture. The mittens feature a gored thumb and the garter stitch provides extra thickness and warmth for cold fingers. Designed to be easy enough for newer knitters, but interesting enough for those with more experience, the Warbler Hat + Mittens is the perfect set to knit now in preparation for the coming winter months!

It’s too bad the pictures don’t convey the softness of the yarn. Those pieces are luscious in hand. The garter only enhances the effect. Love them!
These are really cool looking, you guys!
