#1 Martha is on the cover.#2 There is an amazing Fair Isle hat knit out of Road to China Light by the designer of Kate’s long-time sweater obsession, the Squirrel Cardigan.
Need we say more?
This gorgeous hat, by Yoko Hatta for the “F is for Fair Isle” section of the Holiday issue of Vogue features traditional Fair Isle motifs and six cool tones of Road to China Light: Aquamarine, Jade, Citrine, Blue Tourmaline, Malachite and Lapis. The use of the subtle shades of color really makes the Lapis (the darkest blue) and Citrine (bright yellow) pop, and we love the addition of corrugated ribbing at the brim and symmetrical shaping at the crown.
