We had the pleasure of meeting Rosemary Hill {web link} {blog link} a few TNNA’s ago, and she is as lovely in person as her beautiful designs would lead you to believe. In conjunction with Knit Culture Studio and the VKLive show a few weeks ago, Romi designed a shawl, the Buttonwillow Wrap, out of Road to China Light in Peridot.
A beautifully textured shawl, the Buttonwillow Wrap is all about stitch definition. the main body of the shawl features a modified garter rib, a beautiful center spine that incorporates the increases into a teardrop pattern, and a beautifully textured edging.
Specs:
• Finished Measurement: One size.
• Yarn: Road to China Light in Peridot, 3 skeins.
• Needles: US 4/3.5 mm circular needles, 24” or 36″ long.
• Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle.
• Gauge: 18 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch rib
