We absolutely love this cute, chic and season-spanning cowl designed by Elizabeth Smith of the Brown Stitch {website} {rav pattern page}.
Due to the construction, there is a lot of room to play around with fit and shape. Knit lengthwise in garter stitch out of Canopy Worsted in the color Wild Ginger with rows of dropped stitches and secured with buttons, this cowl is a versatile accessory that can be worn loosely draped, or wrapped twice around the neck for a closer, snugger fit.
. Although spring is in full swing here, Kate is always planing ahead for fall (or over air-conditioned public transportation and restaurants – brrr!) and she is very seriously considering dropping all of her looming deadline knitting and casting one for herself tonight in either Fern or Quetzal.
You can view Elizabeth’s website here, her Ravelry pattern page here, and purchase the pattern here {no ravelry account necessary}. Enjoy!
Too cute!
