The brand new Knitscene Summer preview went live the other day and Courtney has a really cute design in the issue featuring Canopy Fingering in Macaw.
The Starboard Cape is knit from side to side on a larger-than-typical needle to create a little capelet with a lot of drape and shaping. The pattern is written for two neck edge circumferences and 2 lengths, so there are a lot of options for customization!
The drape, softness and airy feel of the Canopy Fingering knit at a looser gauge creates a perfect layering piece for the summer, and the buttons at the neck and quick tacking under the arms are the only finishing on this seamless and versatile piece!
The issue hits newsstands April 18th – in the mean time, pick your favorite color and Ravel It!
