Congratulations to…
Thea, commenter #31, who had a hilarious (and on point) comment: “I’m going to go for Juno, because it keeps the theme from Freyja, with a mother goddess. Although Juno was a damn scary lady, although no can really blame her because Jupiter was kind of an ass.”
And, coincidentally, the sweater name she voted for won as well…
Juno!

Thanks so much to everyone who participated. We are busily getting the pattern together for publication and will let you know as soon as it is available.
I was about to start the Freyja aka Juno and just bought all the Road the china light yarn from Angelfire studios in New Jersey, now im afraid to start it since you are redoing the pattern…When will the new pattern be available????
Have no fear! If you have the Interweave issue at hand please feel free to cast on. Our contract for the design expired this year, meaning the rights to the design we reverted back to Kelbourne Woolens. Now we are free to sell the pattern from our website. However, Interweave retains the rights to the name of the sweater, and their formatted version of the text, so we are required to rename it in order to republish it. Confusing, yes, I know. But there are not going to be any major changes to the pattern, only the format will change. No worries, and happy knitting!
Thea’s comment is fabulous!!!
Thank you so much! I got my pattern/yarn today. Not only are you speedy and efficient, you are so wonderfully generous. Thanks again! I can’t wait to start it!
