Kate finally – and we mean fi-na-lly! – took some photos today of her finished crooked paths hat, designed by Melissa LaBarre of knitting school dropout.
The minute Kate saw the pattern, she wanted to knit it out of Organik in Crater Lake. It only took her a few days to knit up (back in, ahem, March) and has since been worn a fair amount due to the weird, unpredictable weather we’ve been having here in Philly.
The hat combines a really beautiful stitch pattern that transitions into integrated crown decreases at the top. The stitch used looks a little bit like faux cables, and we believe the name ‘crooked paths’ is perfect!
Kate liked knitting crooked paths so much, she has plans to knit herself another version in Terra. If you, too, would like to knit one, you can buy the pattern from Ravelry here or off her website here!
And, since we know you can’t get enough of Melissa’s fabulous knitting, don’t forget she also designed Meritursas, Stratum + Frukttradgard for us for our first collection of ‘for sale’ patterns recently made available for purchase online!
