Sonora is knit in one piece from the bottom up to the underarms. The yoke is then worked back and forth and the shoulders bound off using a 3-Needle Bind Off. The sleeves are then picked up and worked in the round.

YARN: The Fibre Co. Savannah (50% wool, 20% cotton, 15% linen, 15% soya; 160 yds/50 gm skein): bluegrass 5 (7, 8, 9) skeins.
GAUGE: 21.5 sts + 32 rows = 4" (10 cm) in rib garter patt on larger needles, after blocking.
NEEDLES: 2 - 24" (60 cm) US 5 (3.75 mm) circular. 1 - 16" (40 cm) US 6 (4mm) circular, or size to obtain gauge.
SIZE: 35.7 (41.7, 46.7, 53.5)" [90.5 (106, 118.5, 135.75) cm] bust.
