Jordan Pond is worked back and forth in one piece. While the pattern is written for circular needles, if you prefer, you may work on straights. Unless otherwise noted, slip all stitches as if to purl.

YARN: The Fibre Co. Acadia (60% merino wool, 20% baby alpaca, 20% silk; 145 yds/50 gm skein): egret, 5 skeins.
GAUGE: 20 st repeat = 2.5” (6.25 cm), 32 rows = 4” (10 cm), in Cable Pattern, after blocking.
NEEDLES: 1 - 24” (60 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circular.
NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers.
SIZE: 8” (20.25 cm) width, 68.5” (174 cm) length.
