This collection of six sweaters and three accessories is inspired by traditional Irish knitwear. The Aran weight gauge and texture of the Arranmore tweed creates a rich visual landscape that allows simple shapes and stitch patterns to really shine.
Known for her unique approaches to construction, brilliant use of geometry, and feminine detailing, Bristol Ivy used The Fibre Co. Cumbria and The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering to great effect, creating a wearable, unique, and beautifully styled collection of sweaters that are as lovely to knit as they are to wear.
Using the four undyed colors of The Fibre Co. Acadia as our jumping off point, we took a little departure from our more traditional technique-heavy designs and focused on simplicity and effortless wearability for the Acadia Collection. These are wardrobe staples; classic shapes, classic techniques, and perfect for every knitter's wardrobe.

Originally part of a book in collaboration with designers Connie Chang Chinchio, Tanis Gray, Margaux Hufnagel, Melissa LaBarre, the three patterns below are Kate's contribution to the popular ebook, From Mama, With Love.
