Merian Sweater Pattern
Merian Sweater Pattern
2022 Collaboration Collection: Kelbourne Woolens x Manos del Uruguay
Our friends at Fairmount Fibers / Manos del Uruguay introduced a new bulky-weight wool, Cardo, at the same time as we did Germantown Bulky, and, conveniently, both can be knit at the same gauge. We joined forces and designed 6 garments, and knit each in both yarns. The result is a wardrobe of sweaters and a renewed commitment to the principle of collaboration.
Merian, designed by Sarah Chapman, features columns of slipped knit stitches on a reverse stockinette stitch ground, giving a fresh take on a top-down yoke pullover. Even the single knit stitch shows clearly in the hearty texture of Cardo and Germantown Bulky.
