Kelby is a richly cabled pullover knit in Lucky Tweed. Inspired by Irish Aran sweaters, but with a modern shape, designer Kate Gagnon Osborn delivers a fun knitting experience by using intricate twisting cables for the front of the garment, leaving the sleeves and back of the sweater knit in plain stockinette stitch.
Kelby is worked in pieces from the bottom up. Once the pieces are complete, the shoulders are joined with a 3 needle bind off, sleeves and sides are seamed, and stitches are picked up to work the turtleneck.
The front is worked in an all over cable pattern and the back and sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch.
